About the Gallery

The Young Buddhist Editorial Gallery exists to make sure that everyone’s voice is heard. Sometimes words just aren’t enough, and at other times, it’s just easier to speak without them. Our hope is that no matter what you have to share, it finds its place in this community.

This gallery is open to all mediums and forms of fine art, digital art, design, movies, and anything in between. As with any other submissions on our platform, you do not have to be Buddhist and your works do not have to be Buddhist-related.

MakerSpace

MakerSpace is meant to encompass all forms of art and artists, as well as organizers who create and sustain initiatives that they are passionate about.

This space is meant to showcase the amazing artists, performers, organizers, and creatives in our community but also to hold the YBE Gallery as a place for reflection, change, and open-mindedness.

Home is Where the Buddha is

Wherever we are in this world, we can find comfort in knowing that Home Is Where The Buddha Is. For many of us in the Americas, Buddhism has not only been religious center point but a cultural identity that has crossed the Pacific Ocean with us and has endured the same hardships that many of us have had to face.

This photo series is comprised of our community member’s home obutsudans, and other objects or spaces for remembering the teachings of the Buddha.
