A lot of changes to Seattle's landscape have taken during the stay at home order, but being able to adapt and accept change in the most positive way is just as important as we go though these unpredictable times. Although many streets and stores are barren, it allows us to take a step back and appreciate the things we once took for granted.

These photos show us that nothing lasts forever. Ever changing environments like these allow us to become more mindful and appreciative of the things and moments we have right now whether it is family, food, or shelter. The emptiness of the streets has remained me be more aware of the comforts and busyness of the city that we have taken for granted. Ultimately, taking these photos has shown me that the consequences of the coronavirus are incredibly real and becoming more mindful and appreciative of essential workers and small things that bring joy will make our city whole again.
